First seen Nov 19, 2025 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 17 times

Summary

This study compares two pain relief methods for people having hip surgery: a fascia iliaca block (injection near the hip nerve) and intrathecal nalbuphine (injection into spinal fluid). The goal is to see which provides longer-lasting pain control. 120 adults will take part, and researchers will measure how soon they need additional pain medicine.
