New pain coping program eases daily life for advanced cancer patients

Summary
This study tested a special training program to help people with advanced cancer manage pain and keep doing daily activities. 211 patients took part, learning skills to cope with pain and find meaning despite their illness. The program focused on improving quality of life and reducing how much pain interfered with everyday tasks.
