New pain block technique may reduce morphine after kidney surgery

Summary
This study tested two different ultrasound-guided pain blocks in 70 adults having open kidney surgery. The goal was to see which block better controls pain after surgery and reduces the need for morphine. Results will help doctors choose the best method for patient comfort.
