Summary

This study tested two different ultrasound-guided nerve blocks to control pain after open kidney surgery. 70 adults were randomly assigned to receive either a subtransverse interligamentary block or a thoracic paravertebral block. The goal was to see which method reduces the need for morphine and provides longer-lasting pain relief.
