Summary
This study tested two methods of numbing the chest after heart surgery to see which one works better for pain control. 72 adults were randomly assigned to get either one nerve block or a combination of two blocks. The goal was to find out if the combined approach reduces pain, cuts down on opioid use, and helps patients recover more quickly.
