NCT ID NCT05520281
First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated Jun 09, 2026 · Updated 23 times
Summary
This study tested a short-term talking therapy (psychodynamic psychotherapy) for 24 adults with advanced solid tumors and high psychological distress. The goal was to see if the therapy is safe, acceptable, and feasible, not to cure the cancer. Results will help design larger studies on emotional support for people facing serious illness.
