First seen Nov 21, 2025 · Last updated Apr 29, 2026 · Updated 25 times
Summary
This study compares a self-management program (education, exercises, mind-body techniques) to standard care for people with chronic orofacial pain and temporomandibular disorders (TMD). About 98 adults aged 18-65 with jaw, face, or ear pain will be randomly assigned to one of two groups. Researchers will measure pain, function, and how personality traits might influence treatment success.
