Personalized meal plans tested to fight fatigue and pain after breast cancer
NCT ID NCT04293874
Summary
This study looked at whether personalized meal plans encouraging more fish and less red meat could help women manage common symptoms after finishing treatment for early-stage breast cancer. Researchers worked with 98 women who were 1-2 years post-treatment and experiencing fatigue, pain, depression, sleep problems, or stress. They tested if this dietary approach was practical to follow and if it helped reduce these symptoms and related inflammation over 10 weeks.
