Summary

This study aims to find the best weight-loss medication for people with bipolar disorder by matching drugs to specific obesity types (like 'hungry brain' or 'hungry gut'). About 100 adults aged 18-65 with bipolar or schizoaffective disorder and obesity will receive one of three FDA-approved medications or no drug, plus virtual group therapy, over 20 weeks. The goal is to improve weight loss while ensuring mood stability and safety.
