Summary

This observational study aims to understand how nutrition and body composition impact clinical outcomes in people with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), including Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis. Researchers will follow 300 participants starting new medical therapy or undergoing surgery, measuring nutritional status and body changes over time. No new treatments or extra procedures are involved—just standard care with additional assessments.
