Blood pressure cuff could predict lung clot danger

NCT ID NCT04855370

First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 19 times

Summary

This study was designed to test if a non-invasive blood pressure monitor could measure how well the heart is pumping in people with a pulmonary embolism (a blood clot in the lungs). The goal was to see if these measurements could help doctors predict which patients are at risk of getting worse and how well they respond to treatment. However, the study was withdrawn before enrolling any participants, so no results are available.
