First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 26, 2026 · Updated 31 times

Summary

This study looks at whether a nerve graft during nipple-sparing mastectomy can help restore feeling in the nipple and improve quality of life. About 20 women with early-stage breast cancer will be randomly assigned to receive standard surgery or surgery plus nerve grafting. The main goal is to see if patients are willing to join this type of study and to measure changes in sensation and well-being.
