New heart pump trial offers hope for patients with advanced heart failure

Summary
This study is testing a new heart pump device called the BrioVAD System for people with severe, treatment-resistant heart failure. It will compare the new pump's safety and effectiveness to an existing, widely used pump called the HeartMate 3. The goal is to see if the new device works as well as the current standard to help patients survive longer and avoid major complications like stroke.
