First seen Mar 13, 2026 · Last updated May 19, 2026 · Updated 10 times
Summary
This pilot study tested whether a 5-week mindful running program, guided by the Headspace app, is practical and helpful for 18 adults with patellofemoral pain (runner's knee). The program included mindfulness training and outdoor running. Researchers measured how many people joined and stayed, and looked for improvements in pain, fear of movement, and running form. The goal was to see if this approach is worth studying further.
