Summary
This study looks for tiny plastic particles (microplastics) in children with and without inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). Researchers will collect samples of gut tissue, stool, urine, and blood during routine medical procedures. The goal is to see if microplastics are present and if children with IBD have more than those without. No medications or treatments are given as part of this study.
