Micro-Botox: a new needle trick for shiny skin and big pores?
NCT ID NCT07526870
First seen May 04, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 5 times
Summary
This small pilot study tested whether very low doses of botulinum toxin (microtoxin) injected into the skin can reduce oiliness, shrink enlarged facial pores, and soften fine wrinkles around the eyes. Thirty adults aged 18 to 35 received one treatment, and researchers measured changes in oil production and patient satisfaction after 6 weeks. The goal is to see if this approach offers a safer, more natural-looking option for facial rejuvenation.
