Micro-Botox: a new needle in the fight against shiny faces and big pores
NCT ID NCT07526870
First seen May 04, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 3 times
Summary
This small pilot study tested whether very low doses of botulinum toxin (microtoxin) injected into the skin can reduce oiliness and shrink enlarged facial pores. Thirty adults aged 18 to 35 with mild to moderate fine wrinkles around the eyes received one treatment. Researchers measured changes in oil production and asked participants how satisfied they were with their appearance. The goal is to see if this approach is a safe, natural-looking option for facial rejuvenation.
