First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study tests whether a single session of facial acupuncture can improve skin structure and how people feel about their appearance. Researchers will enroll 60 adults aged 30–60 who are concerned about facial aging. Participants are randomly assigned to get acupuncture right away or wait 6 weeks. The team uses skin ultrasound and 3D scans to measure changes in skin thickness, volume, and wrinkles, along with patient questionnaires.
