First seen Jan 16, 2026 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 9 times
Summary
This observational study looks at very small movements (micro-movements) in people who have been unconscious for over a month after a severe brain injury. Researchers want to see if these movements, along with brain scans, can help detect hidden awareness and improve diagnosis. About 179 adults will be followed for 6 months to track their recovery.
