Summary

This study aims to understand what happens inside the tissue after a leg amputation above the knee. Researchers will use a tiny probe (microdialysis) to measure chemicals related to blood flow, inflammation, and antibiotics in the stump. The study includes 20 adults with and without diabetes who are scheduled for amputation at Aarhus University Hospital.
