Summary

This study looks at what happens to markers of inflammation in the blood when menthol cigarette smokers switch to non-menthol cigarettes. Inflammation is linked to heart disease risk. Researchers will measure changes in blood proteins and vital signs in 68 adult menthol smokers over time. The goal is to understand the potential health benefits of a menthol cigarette ban.
