School screening study aims to boost mental health care for black children

Summary

This study looks at two different ways of screening mental health in elementary schools to help more African-American children get the support they need. About 19,000 students and school teams will take part. The goal is to see which screening method leads to more referrals to mental health services and fewer disciplinary issues.
