First seen Sep 30, 2025 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 27 times
Summary
This study looks at whether adding metformin (a diabetes drug) to standard hormone therapy (megestrol acetate) works better to control uterine pre-cancer and stop it from turning into cancer. About 51 people with this pre-cancer condition took part. The goal is to see if the combination reduces abnormal cell growth more than the hormone drug alone.
