First seen Sep 30, 2025 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 25 times

Summary

This study looks at whether adding metformin (a diabetes drug) to standard hormone therapy (megestrol acetate) can better control uterine pre-cancer and stop it from becoming cancer. About 51 women with this pre-cancer condition will receive either the standard drug alone or the combination before their planned surgery. The goal is to see which approach reduces abnormal cell growth more effectively.
