Summary
This study used computer programs to analyze old medical records from 700 patients with two rare and aggressive bone cancers, osteosarcoma and Ewing's sarcoma. The goal was to look for patterns in the data that could help predict a patient's chances of survival. No new treatments were tested; researchers only reviewed information already collected from patients treated between 2003 and 2012.
