New study tests Four-Pronged attack to stop lung cancer in smokers

Summary
This study tests whether a program combining low-dose aspirin, help quitting smoking, diet changes, and more physical activity can reduce inflammation and prevent lung cancer in long-term smokers aged 55 to 75. About 2,000 participants will also get yearly low-dose CT scans for early detection. The main goal is to lower levels of C-reactive protein, a marker of inflammation linked to cancer risk.
