New combo therapy targets aggressive brain tumors

Summary
This study tests a two-step treatment for people newly diagnosed with high-grade gliomas, a fast-growing type of brain tumor. First, a laser is used to heat and destroy tumor tissue. Then, a short course of radiation is given to kill remaining cancer cells. The goal is to safely control the tumor and delay its return. About 32 adults will take part.
