Summary
This study tests two drugs, lenvatinib and pembrolizumab, given before surgery to people with Merkel cell carcinoma, a rare skin cancer. The goal is to see if the combination can shrink or eliminate the tumor before it is removed. The trial enrolled 26 adults with stage II to IV cancer, and the main measure is how many patients have no cancer cells left in the removed tissue.
