Summary
This study aims to find brain-based markers that predict whether depression will return in older adults. Researchers will measure stress reactions and brain network activity in 210 people aged 60 and older, some currently depressed and some in remission. The goal is to understand how thinking skills and brain health affect the risk of future depressive episodes.
