NCT ID NCT06911879
First seen May 08, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study looked at whether a low-carb, high-fat (ketogenic) diet with fewer calories can reduce harmful substances in the blood and improve insulin function in adults with prediabetes and obesity. 90 participants aged 18-40 were split into three groups: one on a keto diet, one on a standard low-calorie diet, and one eating normally. The goal was to see if the keto diet could lower blood markers linked to inflammation and diabetes risk.
