First seen Feb 02, 2026 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 11 times
Summary
This study looked at 40 people with a small hole in the root of a back tooth. Before fixing the hole, dentists used one of two cleaning rinses. The goal was to see which rinse led to less pain and better healing over 9 months. Pain was measured with a simple 0-10 scale, and healing was checked with X-rays.
