First seen Feb 24, 2026 · Last updated Jun 18, 2026 · Updated 12 times

Summary

This study tests whether far-infrared (fIR) therapy is safe and can help ease symptoms in people with Crohn's disease. Forty adults with mild to moderate Crohn's will receive 10 fIR treatments. Researchers will compare three different intensities of fIR to a placebo to find the best dose. The goal is to see if this non-invasive light treatment can reduce inflammation and improve well-being without drugs.
