Summary

This study tests whether vericiguat, a drug that boosts a natural signaling molecule called cGMP, can improve how the body uses energy and responds to insulin. It involves 200 Black adults with obesity and insulin resistance. Over 12 weeks, participants will receive either vericiguat or a placebo to see if the drug helps lower the risk of heart disease and diabetes.
