Blood test may spare some HPV throat cancer patients from unnecessary radiation

Summary
This study is for people with HPV-related throat cancer who have had or will have surgery to remove the tumor. Researchers will use a blood test to look for tiny bits of cancer DNA (ctDNA) to see if the cancer is likely to come back. The goal is to find out if some patients can safely skip or shorten radiation therapy based on these test results, which could reduce side effects while still controlling the disease.
