Summary
This study looked at whether giving blood transfusions at home is practical and acceptable for people with advanced blood cancers who have a life expectancy of six months or less. Ten patients were enrolled to see how many would agree to join, complete their home transfusions, and report their experiences. The goal is to improve quality of life by reducing hospital visits.
