First seen Nov 10, 2025 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 16 times

Summary

This study tested whether adding extra sexual health services (like HIV self-tests and birth control) to a football-based program helps more teenage girls in Zambia get tested for HIV and use prevention methods. Over 2,000 girls from 32 schools took part. The program also aimed to keep those with HIV in care and on treatment.
