First seen Nov 10, 2025 · Last updated Jun 12, 2026 · Updated 25 times
Summary
This study tested whether football-based programs could help over 2,000 teenage girls in Zambia get HIV testing, use birth control, and stay in care if they have HIV. The programs included school sessions, after-school clubs, and clinic support. The goal was to make it easier for girls to access sexual health services and stick with treatment.
