Summary
This study follows 500 people with peripheral artery disease (narrowed leg arteries) who undergo a procedure to restore blood flow. Researchers check blood for heart-damage markers and use heart ultrasound to find silent injuries that may raise future heart attack or stroke risk. Participants are monitored for one year to see who develops major heart or limb problems.
