Summary
This study aims to understand if people who donate a kidney have a higher long-term risk of serious heart problems or death. Researchers will compare health records of 50,000 living kidney donors in Canada to a carefully matched group of healthy people who did not donate. The goal is to provide clear evidence to help future donors, recipients, and doctors make informed decisions.
