Can doctor training fix broken heart failure care?
NCT ID NCT06675552
Summary
This study aims to see if training hospital doctors on the latest heart failure medication guidelines leads to better treatment for patients when they leave the hospital. Researchers will observe 438 patients with a specific type of heart failure to see if they receive the recommended drug combinations and if this improves their symptoms and reduces hospital readmissions. The study does not test a new drug but instead observes how well current best practices are implemented in real-world care.
