Brain tumor care goes digital: app aims to bridge access gap

NCT ID NCT07074756

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 27 times

Summary

This study tests whether a mobile app can help people with glioma (a type of brain tumor) receive treatment and monitoring at home instead of traveling to a specialist center. The goal is to see if this digital approach is practical and acceptable for patients, especially those who live far from care or have limited resources. About 120 adults with glioma will use the app for at least 6 months while continuing their regular therapy.
