Scientists hunt for biomarkers to predict TTFields success in brain cancer
NCT ID NCT06222138
First seen Feb 17, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 13 times
Summary
This study is not testing a new treatment. Instead, it collects blood and tumor samples from 80 people with newly diagnosed glioblastoma who are already receiving standard care plus TTFields (a device that uses electric fields to slow cancer growth). Researchers will analyze these samples to find biological markers that may predict who responds best to TTFields and why resistance occurs. Participants are followed for up to 24 months.
