First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 24 times
Summary
This study compares two surgeries for people with a type of glaucoma (angle-closure glaucoma). One surgery combines cataract removal with a procedure to open the eye's drainage angle; the other is a standard glaucoma surgery. Researchers want to see which one lowers eye pressure better and causes fewer problems. About 82 adults will take part and be followed for one year.
