Can vitamin c boost chemo against rare cancers?

NCT ID NCT04634227

First seen May 23, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026

Summary

This early-stage study tests whether adding high-dose vitamin C to a standard chemotherapy drug (gemcitabine) can help control advanced soft tissue or bone sarcomas that cannot be removed by surgery or have spread. About 30 adults will receive the combination intravenously. The main goal is to see how many patients have stable disease or better after 12 weeks of treatment.
