Summary
This study tested whether placing a gelatin sponge in the tooth socket after removing an impacted wisdom tooth reduces swelling better than using stitches alone. Sixty people aged 18 to 30 with impacted lower wisdom teeth took part. The goal was to find a simple way to improve comfort and safety after surgery.
