Summary
This study tests a non-invasive procedure called ExAblate MR-guided focused ultrasound for people with moderate to severe obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) who haven't gotten better with therapy or medication. The treatment uses sound waves to target a small area in the brain thought to be involved in OCD. The goal is to see if it safely reduces OCD symptoms and improves quality of life. The study involves 66 adults aged 25-64 and compares the ultrasound to a sham (fake) procedure.
