NCT ID NCT06206707

First seen Nov 17, 2025 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 26 times

Summary

This study tests if fecal microbiota transplantation (FMT) can help people with diarrhea and colitis caused by immune checkpoint inhibitors, a type of cancer immunotherapy. About 20 adults with melanoma or kidney cancer will receive either FMT capsules or placebo capsules alongside their standard treatment. The goal is to see if FMT can safely reduce diarrhea and help patients stop taking steroids for this side effect.
