Summary
This study aimed to find the best way to guide fluid treatment for patients with advanced liver disease (cirrhosis) who develop a severe infection (sepsis) causing dangerously low blood pressure. Researchers observed 350 patients to compare different methods for checking if a patient needs more fluids or different medications. The goal was to improve care by helping doctors make better decisions to avoid complications from giving too much or too little fluid.
