Summary
This study looked at tiny particles called extracellular vesicles found in urine to see if they can help tell the difference between healthy kidneys and chronic kidney disease. Researchers measured the number of these particles in 143 adults—both healthy volunteers and people with kidney failure. The goal was to find normal and abnormal levels that could one day be used to monitor kidney health.
