Summary
This study looked at whether home automation and remote monitoring can help elderly people (65+) with multiple chronic illnesses live independently. Over 500 participants had their homes equipped with sensors to track health signs and detect early warning signs of disease flare-ups. The goal was to see if this approach reduces unplanned hospital visits and improves overall well-being.
